Shaker Hills Country Club Wedding

Laura and Eric were married on the first hole at Shaker Hills Country Club in Harvard, Mass as the sun was setting on a perfect summer evening. There was a prevalent golf theme throughout their country club wedding with coral and navy elements tying everything together. One of my favorite details was the personalized golf tees with the couples name and wedding date inside the candle lanterns. There were also golf ball cake pops as favors! Too cute.

The day began with Laura, her mom, and her two bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal suite which had multiple floor to ceiling mirrors to check last minute details. Once the girls were ready and the boys had their boutonnieres pinned, Eric and I took one golf cart out to a scenic and private part of the golf course, while Laura was escorted separately out to meet us there for the first look! The two had some time away from it all to share a moment and we took some lovely portraits before returning to the club house for the ceremony on the first hole. Laura’s brother played the guitar from the gazebo throughout the ceremony and cocktail hour, which was a really special touch. After finishing up the family portraits, Laura and Eric were able to enjoy their cocktail hour on the top deck of the club house since they had already taken their bride and groom portraits earlier. We moved to the reception hall for toasts, dancing, and fun throughout the rest of the night.
