As a Baltimore wedding photographer, one of my absolute favorite types of weddings to capture is tented celebrations. Here are some photos from a stunning tented country club wedding I had the privilege of photographing last summer. This was such a beautiful wedding, and the details truly brought the bride and groom’s vision to life.
One element I loved was the mismatched bridesmaid’s dresses in shades of green. They really complimented the natural surroundings and tied in the outdoor garden party theme.
For this wedding, we scheduled 8 hours of photography coverage, which allowed us to fully capture the day without feeling rushed. One of my favorite moments was the first look that we captured before the ceremony. First looks are such a special intimate moment. They allow us to take all formal photos before the ceremony, so it’s something I always recommend doing. This freed up cocktail hour so that I could take candids of guests mingling, and the couple could enjoy themselves and greet their guests. We also had time after dinner to sneak out for 10 minutes to take some amazing golden hour portraits. I always recommend scheduling some time for sunset photos, particularly if formal photos will be scheduled earlier in the day when the sun is higher in the sky. Nothing beats the soft, warm, romantic glow of golden hour light.
