Wences and Emily’s classic Boston wedding at the Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington, MA, took place on a gorgeous day in late April, one of the first nice days of the year. We started with lots of family portraits outside St. Patrick’s Parish in Watertown, MA. There was a mass going on before the ceremony so we took advantage of the little park across the street. One detail in particular I loved was Emily’s bouquet of red roses, which truly stood out against her white dress. The sweet ceremony was followed by a few more portraits on the altar of the couple and some of their friends who had traveled great distances to witness their marriage.
Next, we traveled to the Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington for dinner and the reception. The groomsmen kept everyone entertained with some games while waiting for dinner. Dinner was followed by some heartwarming toasts, a very sweet cake cutting, and more games. The night ended with a first dance. The two originally hadn’t planned on doing a first dance, but after some convincing from their guests they decided to give it a shot! What a wonderful evening filled with lots of love and laughter from friends and family. Wences and Emily- Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your day. You two are clearly perfect for each other, and I wish you the best of luck!
