Brittney and Brett’s Codman Estate wedding in Lincoln, MA was so fun and unique, and get this- dinosaur themed! The entire wedding party dancing in T-rex costumes during the reception is a memory I will not soon forget.
The day started with both the men and women getting ready at a nearby hotel. Brittney wore an incredibly unique soft pink midi-length wedding dress paired with a birdcage veil, and carried a bouquet made of eco-friendly flowers. After a sweet first look at the hotel, we went to the Codman Estate for portraits in front of the historic home. The ceremony location in the garden with the sun setting behind was nothing short of breathtaking. Side note- they decided to go with an unplugged wedding ceremony, which is something I always recommend!
On to cocktail hour and the tented wedding reception, where the dinosaur wedding details really came into play. After the first dance, dinner, and toasts, we were in for a really special treat. Apparently, both Brett and Brittney individually came to Brett’s sister weeks in advance and said they wanted to surprise the other with a dance in a T-rex costume to the song Walk the Dinosaur, which I am currently listening to as I write this blog for inspiration. So Brett’s sister somehow coordinated both dances and they eath came into the room in costume from different doors along with their respective bridal parties and surprised each other!
Brett and Brittney- thank you so much for choosing me to capture your gorgeous Codman Estate wedding. You two are truly meant to be- till extinction!
