I get asked all the time about my favorite Boston engagement session locations, so here is my list! The locations are divided up between Boston, North Shore, and South Shore/ South of Boston. It also includes a variety of scenery, from beach, to nature/greenery, to city streets. I’ve shot at almost all of these locations, but included a few that I have not had the opportunity to shoot at yet and would love to!

Boston Area Engagement Locations

Public Garden– A Boston classic! I’ve done many shoots here and I could never truly get sick of it.

Beacon Hill– For the classic Boston city streets look.

Esplanade– Can be combined with Beacon Hill and/or Public Garden

Copley/ Boston Public Library

Seaport/Fan pier– One of the most photographed spots in Boston!

Charlestown– This is a fun location because we can get a lot of variety between the Bunker Hill Monument, the quaint streets of Charlestown, and the Navy Yard with Boston skyline views.

Harry and Chantal- Charlestown Engagement

Castle Island/ M St Beach (South Boston)- An amazing beach without ever having to leave Boston! Can be combined with some shots around Southie.

Arnold Arboretum (Jamaica Plain)- The Arboretum is gorgeous year-round, something different is always in bloom.

Piers Park (East Boston)- For amazing skyline views from East Boston. I’ve actually never shot here!

North Shore Engagement Locations

Crane Beach (Ipswich MA)- I’ve never shot here but would love to! I am loyal to the South Shore but I’ll admit this is a gorgeous beach.

Middlesex Fells (Stoneham, MA)- This is an interesting location on a pond for a woods/nature feel.

South Shore Engagement Locations

Duxbury Beach (Duxbury, MA)- Ok I’m biased because I grew up 5 mins down the road but my favorite location of all time. The best beach in Mass. Ask about other locations in Duxbury to combine this with.

World’s End (Hingham, MA)- There is a small entry fee to get in here but it’s totally worth it! The scenery is so diverse and it is aptly named World’s End.

Bay Farm (Duxbury, MA)- If you are looking for more nature and less beach, but still with water, this is a great option.

Scituate Lighthouse (Scituate, MA)

Borderland State Park (Easton, MA)

Cape Cod/ Further South of Boston Engagement Locations

Dennis Beaches (Dennis, MA)

Grey’s Beach/ Bass hole boardwalk (Yarmouth, MA)
