This Palm Beach Zoo wedding in West Palm Beach, Florida, was such a fun event, complete with an animal encounter at cocktail hour! The Palm Beach Zoo is one of the most unique and exotic wedding venues you can choose for your day, and your guests will love it. The zoo has several different indoor and outdoor event spaces and can accommodate weddings of up to 150 guests.
Rebecca and Brad’s day was so perfect for them. The two actually shared some of their first dates at the zoo, so it was a natural choice for their wedding. The day started with portraits, and we were able to utilize many different areas of the zoo which was so cool. We started by taking family portraits with some simple greenery in the background. The ceremony took place in front of a gorgeous fountain, which went off right as the couple said “I do” and shared their first kiss.
Following the ceremony, the three of us were allowed to roam around the zoo and take portraits with some of the animals. We had to stop by the flamingos, Rebecca’s favorite, and then they introduced me to Mardi the albino alligator. Then some of the zoo staff brought over a tiny owl to have a private encounter with the couple. We joined the rest of the guests at cocktail hour, along with some other cool animals. It was a perfect evening for an outdoor reception on a beautiful deck space decorated with gorgeous string lights. The couple chose to hire live wedding painter Canvas and Confetti which was such a unique way to remember the day. The rest of the evening was filled with thoughtful toasts and lively dancing.
I had SUCH an amazing time photographing this Palm Beach Zoo wedding and can not wait to be back at this venue soon!
