Harry & Chantal | Westin Copley Place Wedding

Harry and Chantal’s Westin Copley Place wedding took place on the most popular wedding date of the year- 8/18/18! If you haven’t already seen their Charlestown engagement session, I’d go check that out first, then come back here!

Their ceremony took place at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, where they met. We had an amazing day, starting with getting ready in the most STUNNING bridal suite at the Westin with sweeping 180-degree views of Boston and Back Bay. The girls had a relaxing morning getting ready with mimosas and enjoying the view, while the guys were getting ready a few floors down. The wedding was travel themed as these two love to travel the world together, and no detail was forgotten, from their save the date which mimicked a passport, to the tiny suitcases containing favors. Guests had to find their “departure gate” in order to find their place at a table named after the different places Harry and Chantal have traveled to.

After everyone was ready we departed the Westin for Holy Cross, where the two shared their first look on campus. After some couple portraits amongst the stunning architecture, the ceremony took place at the college’s St. Joseph Chapel. We took additional family and bridal party portraits on campus before heading back to Boston for some more bride and groom portraits in Copley Square. We did some shots in front of the Boston Public Library, and even came across another couple taking their wedding portraits. Next, I got to experience my first traditional Chinese tea ceremony back in the bridal suite at the Westin which was so interesting to watch and photograph. Then it was time for the reception, which involved an incredible choreographed first dance, parent dances, dinner, toasts, a hilarious bouquet and garter toss, a brief dodgeball game, and lots of dancing.
