If you’re searching for a Boston wedding venue that combines natural beauty with breathtaking city views, a Granite Links wedding in Quincy, Massachusetts, is a great option for your wedding day. Set on top of a hill just outside of the city, Granite Links offers sweeping views of the Boston skyline, making it one of the most sought-after wedding venues in the area, and one of my absolute favorites to shoot at! Although I am now primarily based in Baltimore, I love traveling back to Massachusetts, where I am from, to photograph a few weddings each year.

Outdoor Ceremony with Views of Boston Skyline

Megan and Brian’s wedding day started with getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite at Granite Links. It happened to be an extremely windy day, so we tried to find a spot behind the pavilion tent to take cover for their first look and private vows. We then took portraits at the city overlook, finishing up all of the formal portraits before the ceremony. The Granite Links wedding ceremony location is nothing short of magical. With a panoramic view of Boston’s iconic skyline as a backdrop, the venue provides an incredible vantage point, allowing guests to view the changing cityscape throughout every portion of the day and evening.

Reception in the Tented Pavilion at Granite Links

For the reception, the tented pavilion at Granite Links is a location that is equally as impressive as the ceremony site. With an open design, the pavilion allows guests to continue enjoying the breathtaking views of the city as they celebrate into the evening. The elegant interior of the pavilion complements its picturesque setting. The sun was setting as the evening kicked off with a first dance and toasts.

Make Your Granite Links Wedding Unforgettable

Whether you’re drawn to the beauty of the outdoor ceremony site or the elegance of the Pavilion reception, a Granite Links wedding offers an unforgettable experience for couples and guests alike. With its unrivaled views of the Boston skyline and its impeccable service, it’s easy to see why this Quincy venue remains a top choice for couples planning a Boston wedding.

If you’re planning a wedding at Granite Links or elsewhere in Massachusetts, I’d love to chat more and see if we’d be a good fit!

ABOUT morgan

I work with couples who are laid-back like me, and whose idea of a perfect wedding day is enjoying themselves, not posing for an elaborate photoshoot.

I'm originally from Duxbury, Massachusetts, a quiet coastal town south of Boston. For 9 years I photographed weddings in between Boston and South Florida, before moving to Baltimore where I now reside with my fiancé, Scott. I now primarily photograph weddings in Maryland, including Annapolis and the Eastern Shore. I also still take a select number of weddings each year in Massachusetts with no travel fee, so please reach out if you are getting married in either area!
