Duxbury Wedding on the Gurnet - Morgan O'Neil Photography

This Duxbury wedding took place at a family home out on Gurnet Point. Courtney and Ryan’s wedding was so unique, I had a blast helping plan the photography portion of this day.

Courtney started by getting ready in the gorgeous master bedroom of the house which was all white with tons of windows, basically a photographer’s dream. We took some pajama photos with the bridesmaids and she had a first look with her father, while Ryan got ready in another part of the house with his brothers.

For the couple’s first look, we headed across the street to a gorgeous overlook on a cliff with Duxbury beach and Cape Cod bay in the background, and then took ATVs up the road to Gurnet light for the wedding party and family portraits.

Then it was back to the house for an incredible ceremony overlooking the bay at high tide. Guests, who were bussed out to the remote area from Duxbury Beach, gathered all around on several levels of the house to view the ceremony. Everyone was then able to mingle around the back patios of the property for cocktail hour, before retreating to a beautiful tent in the sideyard for dinner, dancing, and merriment. Later in the evening, we were able to sneak out for a few moments to take some sunset portraits in the crow’s nest. Enjoy some photos from the day below!
